I graduated early (in '79) and joined the U.S. Navy.
I was stationed in New Orleans for two years working
as a graphics artist and returned to NOLA in 2005 to
aid in the relief work there just after Hurricanes
Katrina and Rita . What an experience! After the
Navy, I came home and met my husband while attending
Los Gatos Christian Church. We married in 1983 and
moved to our current home in the Willow Glen area a
few years later. We have two boys who are now 24 and
21 - does that make me feel old???
I've been working for an au pair agency (AuPairCare) as an Area Director since 1997, but have had a bunch of other jobs as well. One of the more interesting ones was working for a hair transplant surgeon up in SF. I did some fashion modeling and TV commercial work in my 20's and 30's - including a big job for Japan Airlines which took me to Tokyo. If you are a night owl, you may have seen me on an infomercial for a hair cutting tool in the 90's! I'm also a certified massage therapist and do a little of that on the side for friends and family. I've stayed in touch with a few people from my OG days - it'll be fun to get reacquainted with people now that we are all grown up!
