The David Phillips
FAQ (in response to the post below) 1. Is Dave in the band? Yes! 2. Where is Point Reyes? Northern or Southern CA? Point Reyes is on the coast north of San Francisco. 3. What kind of band is it? This is Dave's jazz quartet that he has played with for almost 10 years now, playing mostly his own compositions. 4. Do you have any more information on the band? More information on the band can be found at http://www.davephillips.info (which includes a complete concert schedule). 5. What other locations is the band playing? They will be doing two concerts in LA also, one on Halloween night at a club called Rocco, and the other on November 1st at the LA County Museum of Art at 5:30pm. Before coming to CA, they will be in Phoenix doing some clinics at ASU Tempe and some concerts in local clubs there. |

Dear Friends, My group is coming out to CA for a few concerts. One of which will take place in Point Reyes at the Dance Palace on Sunday November 3rd at 7:30pm. I hope some of you can make it. Meanwhile, hope all is well, Take care, Dave |

Wow... I just found this
site and looked through the pics and message posts. 22 years gone, damn the time
goes don't it? I prolly cut too much school for anyone to remember me... but it was cool seeing some of the familiar names and faces crop up here. The reuninion looked like a hoot. |
| Tony Gutierrez 8/6/02 |
Bill, please keep me informed on the next reunion. Looks like the 20 year went great! I believe I can dig up a couple of other alumni's that didn't make it to the 20th - Vern Finegan, Scott Standridge, and others. |
| Pamela (Hijar) Katen 6/27/02 |
Hello Everyone! I had a little time to browse Classmates.com and found our OG website! 1976 - 1980 were the best years of my youth! It's so fun to see all the faces from high school! I noticed that Ann Yanetta isn't on the roster; does anyone know of her whereabouts? I would really like to reunite with her! Best regards to everyone! Pamela |
| Chris Ramm 1/14/02 |
Finally had a look at the reunion pics. We sure had some beautiful woman in our class. Can't wait until 2005. Has there been any thoughts or ideas for the next reunion? |
| Maria Carlsen 12/25/01 |
Merry Christmas too ALL... I look forward to seeing everyone at the next reunion... Enjoy the holiday with your families. Wishing You all a Wonderful New Year!! |
| Shirley (Reno) Harrison 12/25/01 |
Just got a look at the pictures. They sure do look pretty good. I'm glad that I was able to be there and hope to see everyone in 2005. Take care and happy holidays. |
| Bill Catambay 12/12/01 |
Mary, take a look at the alumni lists (A-K and L-Z), and note the alumni that are shaded in the darker gray. These are people who have been reported as passed away. Sadly, there are at least 5 alumni who are no longer with us. |
| Mary Aguilar (Atkins) 12/12/01 |
Hi All! Just ran into
Carol Bailey (Rodriguez) and she ran into Chris (not sure of his last name). Chris
mentioned that a girl from our class passed away. Does anyone know of who this could
be??? Happy Holidays to All! Will try and make the next reunion. Cheers! |
| Kathryn Underwood 12/3/01 |
Dear Alumni that attended the reunion, If you have any descent photos of the big reunion bash, and would like to share them or get me a copy, please get in touch with me via the OG website and my email. I already have Marco's photos. I wish everyone a warm and safe holiday season, Pay It Forward! Much love, Kathryn Underwood |
| Sean Knepper 11/30/01 |
OK, again... yes... OK...
where are the pictures? LOL!!! Cheers! |
| Debbie (Victor) Arnold 11/30/01 |
Happy Holidays to All! |
| Bill Catambay 11/7/01 |
My bad! I have Marco's
pictures already scanned into the computer and sitting on my hard drive. I have my
digital camera pictures also sitting on my hard drive. And I had all the table cameras
(sans the one Brad took home with him) developed, and those pictures are sitting
on the floor of my computer room. I have tons of pictures to share! Problem is, I
haven't found the time to share them yet. Due to the large number of pictures, I'm
probably going to have to make the web pictures much smaller than they are (I have
limited web space and bandwidth). I will, for those who would want to pay for it,
make copies of pictures as well as email full-sized high quality digital images.
We can figure that all out when I get off my ass and actually get some pics on the
web. Sorry for the long delay! I promise they will be posted before the next reunion.

Hey everyone. Noone has written anything lately. I have one question. Hey Bill when are you going to post the pictures of the reunion? |
| Fred Myetich 11/7/01 |
Ok...it's been like forever since anyone has posted in here. Bill? Didja get the pictures yet? I'm sure I'm not the only one dying to see them. Or did I maybe miss them being posted somewhere else? Let us know. Thanks. |
| Debbie (Victor) Arnold 9/16/01 |
Prayers to all that are
lost, those that are mourning, those that are giving of service, and those that are
fallen. God Bless. |
| David Pipe 9/10/01 |
Holly - So sorry to hear about your brother. Seems like last week when all of us neighborhood kids were playing football in the street. I drove through the old 'hood when I was in town for the reunion - hadn't been there for years. Everything looked so different somehow... but in my memory I could still hear all the kids in the street - your brother, Chris Cox, Rob Lynch, the Becks, Cathy Hagerman... Sorry you missed the reunion. Hope you are doing well. |
| Bill Catambay 9/9/01 |
First of all, I would
like to thank everyone who attended the reunion. It was your being there and having
such a great attitude that created a great time for all. I really did not know what
to expect beforehand. In planning the event, there were many moments when I really
didn't know what I was doing. I'm just glad it all worked out! Special thanks to
the people
who helped out...
Kathy for setting up, Kim at the door and helping me with the raffle, Terry with
the badge holders and the casino redemption booth, and Jeff for the balloons. I couldn't
(and wouldn't) have done it without you guys! Thanks also to those who contributed
prizes to the raffle, making it more
personal, and allowing us to have more winners!
As far as the pictures go, I have the pictures! Half of them are scanned in already. I've been pretty busy with other things lately, but hope to find the time to scan in the rest of the pictures, and post them on the web soon! |
| Angela Maguire 9/9/01 |
I know everyone is busy these days, but are there any pictures from the reunion yet? Would love to see the ones that Bill took and any others that were taken. I'm guilty of course, have a few left on the camera to take. Hopefully by the weekend will have the film developed. Just checking. |
| Fred Myetich 9/5/01 |
I don't have anything
to say. It's just been so long since anyone has posted on here I wanted to make sure
it still worked... ha ha ha ha... |
| Holly Mixson (Pool) 8/28/01 |
Sounds like I missed
a great reunion . . . Unfortunately, my grandmother and brother passed away in July and I went to Hawaii to attend funerals. Looking forward to seeing pictures of everyone having a great time. Perhaps I will be able to attend the next one! |
| Mike Little 8/14/01 |
Kathy Underwood: I can't
believe you didn't recognize me. Except for loosing my hair, the glasses, and the
extra 25 pounds, I look EXACTLY like I did in school. |
| Kathy (Webb) Underwood 8/14/01 |
Everyone looked Great at the reunion. Mike Little, I never saw you once that evening! Furthermore, I never would have recognized you. |
| Ron Roy 8/13/01 |
Hey all, This is a little late, but just wanted to say I had a great time. Bill you guys did a wonderful job putting it together. The only complaint I have is that is was over too fast! Next time let's make it a weekend party, okay? |
| Debbie (Victor) Arnold 8/13/01 |
That was a hard one voting
for least change, as I could of picked almost all of them listed. Looking forward
to pictures from the reunion. |
| Fred Myetich 8/7/01 |
I've searched and searched the yearbooks and I haven't found Darryl Dragon (The Captain) OR Toni Tenille in them. Ok Kathy...what gives??? |
| David Pipe 8/6/01 |
Re: Kathy Webb photo
collection #1 - bottom right photo. Did we go to school with the Captain? |
| Kathy (Webb) Underwood 8/6/01 |
TO: Tom Slaski, Steve Doherman and RIGO CASTILLO! You missed a great Party! |
| Kathy (Webb) Underwood 8/6/01 |
A belated Hello to everyone at the reunion! I had a wonderful time. I can't believe that I did not recognize a few people that I spoke with on the phone and that there were so many alumni present, that I couldn't make the rounds and see everyone. As I look back to see who showed up, I was surprised that I didn't even notice Mike Little and Sal Azevedo. Scott Riley- I am glad you are still with us, please keep in touch. To Jon, Eric, Mike Suhama,Marc Hannah,The Portera Bros., Mike Fujimoto, Marco, and Scott R. It was really good seeing all you guys again! Take care of yourselves. Keep in touch. |
| Lisa (Putz) Anderson 7/31/01 |

Made it back to the bottom of the world, and can't stop thinking about what a great time I had. Many thanks for all the effort put into organizing such an awesome party - it was so much fun seeing all of my old mates from OG. Can't wait to see those photos. (Bill: I'm playing darts in my office right now!!) |
| Sal Azevedo 7/27/01 |
What a great time!! I was glad that I went and was able to see folks that I have not seen for over 20 years. I too want to say that the reunion commitee did a great job and can't wait for the next get together. |
| Shirley (Reno) Harrison 7/27/01 |
Hi to everyone. I had a great time at the reunion. It was great seeing all of the people that I remembered in high school even though I was only there for 1 1/2 years. Thanks to Bill and the reunion committee for a great job putting this reunion together. I hope to see everyone again in 4 years... |
| Melissa (Nani) Thornton 7/26/01 |
A BIG Thank You to everyone that planned the reunion. It was a great party!! It was great to relive the high school daze. I hope that there will be a 25th. Take care everyone... |
| Mike Harris 7/24/01 |
I'd just like to repeat
the resounding message of the previous posts. Thanks to the reunion committee for
putting together such a fun and memorable event. Your hard work in organizing and
planning such a successful reunion was evidenced by all of the smiles and happy faces
I saw on Saturday night. I truly had an enjoyable evening - one that I'll remember
for years to come. It was great seeing everybody once again. I'll be looking forward
to the next reunion. |
| Scott Clark 7/24/01 |
Sounds like I missed a great reunion! I tried to schedule a business trip through the Bay Area to coincide with the reunion, but couldn't pull it off. Sorry I missed it. Hopefully it will be a different story in four years. |
| Shellie (Pena) Walters 7/23/01 |
Well, I agree with everyone so far. What an awesome job the commitee did. My husband and I had a great time! I agree the 4 hours flew by. It was so much fun seeing all of you. I wish I could have talked to everyone, just time slipped away. Looking forward to the next one. |
| Mike Little 7/23/01 |

| Michael 'Mike' Fujimoto 7/23/01 |
Everyone, What a wonderful time I had! It was great not only seeing my classmates from Oak Grove, but people I've known from Edenvale Elementary and Davis Jr. High. I realized I've known several of you since 1967 from kindergarden! The reunion staff did an excellent job and made it a truly memorable evening! Thanks to all involved. Let's do it again in 4 more years (sounds like an election, doesn't it)! I hope to stay in touch with many of you. |
| Wendy (Mlasko) Stroh 7/23/01 |
Hi Everyone, Two days after the reunion, and I'm still thinking about the wonderful time I had. It was so much fun seeing everyone and hearing about their lives. Everyone was so warm and freindly it hardly seemed like twenty one years have gone by. The four hours flew by and I wish I would have had more time to reminisce. Thanks Bill, Kim and the rest of the committee for doing such a wonderful job. I hope you had a good time, too. |
| Angela Maguire 7/23/01 |

Bill, Kim, & Reunion
Staff, What an excellent 20 Year Reunion!!!! My wife and I had a wonderful time. It was so nice to see everyone... If I missed anyone, it was because I was so overwhelmed with all the familiar faces and trying to catch up that time took over the years. Thanks again for everything, I will always remember this party. |
| Rob Vollmer 7/22/01 |
I could not be prouder
to be part of such a great high school graduating class. I was so impressed with
not only how well everyone has turned out but also how warm and personable everyone
was. I was even more impressed with how many people have found God over the years. A job well done to Bill and everyone else who worked on a truly memorable evening. |
| Fred Myetich 7/22/01 |
