This is a simple level that basically sets up the story for you. You watch a happy scene first, then travel down the elevator to see the massacre scene. Use the teleporter to move to the next level where the game actually begins.
- Read the terminals to move the elevator
- On the last floor, after the massacre begins, the terminal will begin to blink indicating it's time to read it again
- In the engine room, flip the switch, then jump in the teleporter to move on
Eye Candy / Extras
- Watch the massacre until no one is left except for Morgana, Mauvair and Mordred
- Before entering the teleporter, head into the training arena where you get to run around and shoot GATs with unlimited ammo (and the GAT shots do not harm you)
Journey starts on the starship Kronos, and Merlin, same AI from Devil, introduces some new information to you. He wants you to practice in the holodecks, but after visiting the Camelot holodeck, the ship is attacked. Your task then is to simply get off the ship.
- Grab the gun in sickbay, recharge, save game, and follow the maintainence man down the corridor where he'll open a locked door containing an SAP card and a dachron gun
- Visit the 2nd holodeck where the Camelot program is running
- Before hopping into the lava river, grab the crossbow in the forest
- If you hop into the lava river to the left, keep run mode on and move to the left after submerging (you'll bob up in the cave where there is a passage you'll take up for jumping across the lava)
- Enter the castle, grab the arrows, and run to the other end (the wall behind Morgana's flag will open)
- Run down the stairs, grab the ammo, flip the switch (opens the red walls)
- Run over to the other side and flip the switch, drink the potion, then climb the ledge near the lava pool into the time gate exit (you've now activated the time delayed attack on Kronos)
- While invincible, head back towards the sickbay hallway and take the elevator down to the future pod bays
- Kill the GATs, including the ones waiting for you in the recharging pods
- Head back to sickbay to recharge (if needed), then head back to communications room (it's now open) to read the last log entry
- Head back down to pod bays, and exit through recharging pod on the left
Eye Candy / Extras
- Try revisiting each holodeck after going through it once
- To get through the Jurassic holodeck, rock jump towards the left into the tunnel, run through the cave to an opening, jump off the cliff, avoid the T-rex, run into the forest alcove, into the pod (terminal doesn't work), then exit the pod and the time gate exit is in the forest wall
- In the Jurassic holodeck, try rock hopping towards the right and you'll find another tunnel which leads to an arena containing a couple of pods, and you'll need to exit the area pretty quick once lava begins to fill up the arena
- The SAP card can be used to open the vent at the end of the hallway near the observatory, and takes you to the engineering section
- The teleporter pads take you to: the locked teleporter room across the hallway, sickbay, and to the top of a future pod in one of the bays where you can pod hop to grab some dachron ammo
- There is a switch in the bridge (at the end of the hall past the teleporter rooms) which can be used to shut off the alarm
- You cannot get to the "big" ammo stash, so don't bother trying
- Dachron & snyper ammo scattered in engineering section (elevator connects engineering with the bridge)
- Attack ship decloacks (you can view from observatory at end of hall past holodecks)
- In Camelot holodeck, there is a stash of arrows in the archer alcove on the left (you can reach it from a platform on the near the lava pool)
- Before entering holodeck castle, you can take lava river directly to the lava pool, and dachron blast out to skip the archer alley
- In the communications room, there is ammo in the locker
- There's snyper ammo on the conference table (across from the holodecks)
This is the first Jurassic level, and you start by seeing Morgana for the first time (enjoy her, as you will not confront her again until the end). You're looking for the actinium crystals now, but the area you're in is unstable. Run like the wind until you find the broken pod to exit the level. There are several ways to get to the pod, but here's the quickest:
- Run to the left through the forest, jump in the river and follow the river to the left
- Run through the cave, and when reaching a juncture where you can go up or down, take the passage up
- Hop across the lava, take the cave further until you reach a cliff
- Walk along the cliff to the end (before it drops off), wait on the cliff until it starts to drop, then look for a rock opening in the wall
- Jump at the rocks, the rocks will drop, and you can jump through the opening
- Quickly kill the spitting raptor to the right, jump across the lava and follow the cave to the broken pod
- You are on the recharger side of the pod, so recharge, then jump across to the terminal side of the pod to exit the level
Eye Candy / Extras
- If you went right at the start, or if you jump in the big lava lake, there is a platform that will take you up, and at the top, you can run along a ledge which takes you into another big open area
- In the open area, you can take any of the cave openings: one leads to the river, one leads to the lava platform puzzle, and one leads to an ice cave
We're in a calmer area, known to have actinium crystals. The goal is to locate the first pod, activate an emitter switch, then locate the 2nd pod to activate the other emitter switch which creates a cave-in on the crystals. Upon inspecting the cave-in area, you'll be teleported to the next level.
- Run around the pool of water (don't jump in unless you want to be eaten), follow the river to the waterfall drop-off, then turn left before the drop-off
- Walk down the stairs, and a platform will take you down to the caves
- To the right is a passage which takes you past some small lava falls, a horde of mini raptors, and the first future pod (run fast and you won't have to fight the raptors)
- Flip the switch, recharge, save, and collect the ammo
- Exiting the caves is easiest in map mode, but if you use map mode, you may want to kill those mini-raptors first (spear and rock work really well on them)
- The exit from the caves is through a waterfall
- Avoid the T-rex, and go to the right into a dwelling of cavebobs
- Upon entering their dwelling, keep going straight, and the rock you run into will drop to allow you passage into their ice cave
- Run up the stairs of the ice cave, then off the ledge, then exit the ice cave (collecting as many rocks as you can carry)
- You've now activated a rock movement opening a cave at the end of the river, so exit the cave dwelling, follow the river to the end, and run into the cave (band of cave bobs should help you with critters that may be following you)
- Run to the final pod (if the door is shut, you forgot to flip the switch in the first pod)
- Flip the switch in the final pod, then exit to watch the cave-in (splat, splat, splat go the raptors)
- After cave-in, jump into area to teleport to next level
Eye Candy / Extras
- In cavebob dwelling (did you notice their nice artwork?), you can take a platform down to a view of the crystals
- Upon entering the cave to the final pod, if you stand in the crystal pedestal area, you'll activate the MMMG logo, and some Carmina Burana (and you'll probably feel a glow effect if you stand there long enough)
Once again you find yourself in an unstable area, so you need to make your way to higher ground so that Merlin can teleport you out. Part of thie expedition involves causing a landslide which diverts the flow of lava.
- At the start, let the cavebobs fight off the raptors (help if you like)
- Enter the cavebob cave and you'll find a pod with a recharger and save term
- If any cavebobs die, say a prayer for him, and then grab the rocks he left behind
- Start your way through the jungle and get ready for ambushes along the way
- If you get tired of fighting, you can always lure them back to the cave bobs
- After passing through the jungle, you'll find an entrance into the volcano
- Enter the volcano and go to the left until you find the pod (avoid deep lava pockets)
- Flip the switch in the pod to activate a platform in the heart of the volcano giving you access to the other side
- Now follow the caves to the heart of the volcano, cross the chasm, and exit into a raptor infested opening
- Kill the critters and then climb the stairway to the top
- At the top, near the edge of the pool, hop from rock to rock until you can get to the passage which goes behind the waterfall
- Follow this passage jumping across chasms as you go
- When you get to the end, there's rocks at the edge of the cliff, and if you stand on these rocks (careful not to fall off), you'll create a landslide
- The landslide diverts the lava flow, and you can now jump down the cliff and head to the left
- There will be lots of raptors waiting for you, so use the landslide rocks to jump back into the area where the cavebob cave is so you can recharge and save in the future pod
- Climb the rocks to higher ground, sometimes having to jump across chasms
- When you get to the final area, you'll see the final pod (as well as a lot more jungle beasts)
- Get to the pod to exit the level
Eye Candy / Extras
- Break the eggs to get more rocks
- Stand in the heart of the volcano and notice the bubbling the lava is doing (cool, huh?)
- After reaching the final pod, instead of exiting through that terminal, walk out of the pod and run across the highest land in front of you (that activates the secret), then head back to the first pod area, into the jungle where you started, and you'll notice a secret passage to a secret pod (along with lots of extra ammo)
You've detected more actinium crystals in deep caves, so it's time to hunt them down. This level is basically an explore level, and as you explore more, the caves shift until a climbable passage is achieved up to the crystals.
- Note the rocks movement occurring at the very beginning, for this is the passage you need to make climbable (each area marked with beacons will activate one of the 4 platforms, with the first one immediately activated)
- Across from the rocks is a pod imbedded in rock, enter and read the terminal for important information
- Exit the pod, and facing the pod door go to the stairs on the right
- Passage leads to an intersection with a T-rex, stay to the left and follow the passage through the next pair of beacons (2nd platform is activated)
- This path dead ends into a big arena, so back track to the intersection with the T-rex (may have to wait for ceiling platforms over stairway)
- Go through the passage towards the left marked by a tall boulder, follow down to another future pod (ammo and a recharge)
- Take the stairs to the right up (avoid T-rex), go back to the T-rex intersection, and go through the passage to the right (hug the right wall)
- You are now on the perimeter ledge around the dead end arena from before, jump across opening to left and circle around clockwise until you reach an opening at the other end
- Enter the crystal arena, continue towards back through the Grog corpses, take the path to the left, down the stairs, and through the 3rd set of beacons
- When you get to the opening to a spiral staircase, go to the right up the stairs, hug the left wall until you reach a cliff opening
- Jump off the cliff, avoid the T-rex, and follow these dark caves past the last set of beacons
- Keep going through the unstable ceiling area until you arrive to another cliff (you'll also notice, if you turn around, that the passage behind you has closed off)
- Below you is a major platform which will take you to the opening across the way where another future pod is, so jump on the platform (after you kill the female raptor which jumps up to greet you)
- As the platform rises, rocks will begin to fall from all directions, so just try to avoid the rocks, and then jump into the opening where the pod is
- Enter pod, read terminal, recharge, collect ammo and save, then exit pod and jump back on the platform (you'll probably have to wait until it comes back down again)
- This time take the platform all the way to the top until you can jump through the small opening which leads back to the starting area (if you've hit all the triggers, you should be able to climb the passage; otherwise, it's back through the caves)
- Climb the passage, enter the pod, read the terminal, then enter the sleep chamber to exit the level
Eye Candy / Extras
- In the crystal arena, if you climb the small stairway there, you'll activate a platform which releases some Grogs (the Grogs are also released after you exit through the left passage), and you can then pass through the new passage on the right to activate the same earth nerve as going to the left (plus you get to see Grogs battling a T-rex)
- In the lower caves where you pass through the final set of beacons, after you reach the cliff, turn back to the cave-in area and you'll find an alley platform that takes you down to a secret terminal, along with a hightech weapon and a stash of hightech ammo (watch out for the lava pool)
Merlin activates your sleep chamber so that you can rest, and now you are in a dream.
- You start off empty handed, so grab the crossbow and arrows, and use the step to jump across to the 1x recharger
- While on the ledge, jump towards the elevated door and take that hallway to a hidden pod where you can save the game
- Flip the switch in that pod to open the door to a room across the hall
- Go to that room, collect the arrows at the bottom of the bathtub and flip the switch (which opens a door at the end of the hall)
- Head back past the first room towards the end of the hall, and out to the ledge where the ranger is standing (she's out of arrows)
- Look across the ways and spot the blonde archer, and then shoot her (one less to worry about later)
- Now head back down the hall, down the stairs, and on the left is a room with a term, oxygen and shield recharger.
- Continue down the hall past the elevator until you reach the door to the Sushi bar
- Enter the Sushi bar, shoot the soldier, grab the key, and stay away from the water
- Now head back down the hall to the elevator and take it down (get ready to fight a couple of archers when you get there)
- In the contraption in the middle of the room you'll see a switch which looks like a window, shoot an arrow at it
- On the same wall as the elevator, you'll find a row of switches, only one of which is enabled
- Begin flipping the switches, and other switches will become enabled (switch them all on)
- Go to the wall with the two lights to open the secret door between the lights (go through that door as well as the door it revealed behind it)
- Follow the maze and turn right at every juncture until you reach an alley of water
- At the end of that alley is a switch that you need to flip
- Head out to the big body of water, swim around until you can climb on some black rock, and take that platform up
- That corridor takes you to another body of water called The City, jump in, submerge, and to the right is a nook with a switched platform
- Take the platform up (prepare to battle some archers)
- Recharge and save, then flip the switch to open the door
- Follow the passage to the Ballroom, use your key in the lock (and watch out for the sorcerer that appears)
- Make your way back to the starting point, and you'll see that the door across from the oxygen/shield recharge room is open to a courtyard area
- Cross the courtyard and enter the caves on the other side (there is faster way to get there from the Ballroom, but it is harder to describe)
- Once in the caves, look for an opening to the left of the cave entrance, and pass through the automatic opening and closing doors until you find the teleporter to the next level
Eye Candy / Extras
- When you are on the ledge where the ranger is found, try jumping across the rocks and climbing along the ledges just for fun
- In the big room with all the switches, after flipping the first set of switches, try flipping the switches on the opposite side of the room and watch the room come to life
- In the cave, explore the area until you see a secret message appear on the wall
